Meet Our Executive Director
Antonia Corbett, MSSW
With a wealth of management and social work experience, Toni Corbett is the new executive director and co-founder of the National Black Parents Association. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Masters of Science degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked on her Ph.D. in social work although she did not complete it; however, she has plans of completing it in the near future.
Currenty, she works for the state of Texas as a child safety specialist and advocate for abused and neglected children. Prior to commencing her career protecting children, she worked in banking management where at times she oversaw a team of 50 employees.
She lives in the Dallas, Texas area with her husband, Pastor Corbett. She is an enthusiastic football fan and enjoys reading, walking, and hanging out with her husband.
